Vision/Beliefs
Today there are so many things to believe in. Christianity seems to be the most divided religion on the planet. The Spirit of Love and Truth that we are supposed to be known by seems to be a distant memory in most churches. It is our heart that the Spirit of the Gospel be brought back to the fore front of our faith. We long for the glory of God and the reality of Jesus in every life that names His name. We believe in the whole Bible, and life as a Christian, as defined by Jesus. Below is a little taste of our heart in what we believe.
Our Vision is clear.
Our Vision is a paradox.
It was never made to be understood, only experienced. Those that have never experienced Jesus won’t understand.
Our Vision is not born of the human mind. It is not some hair-brained concoction of misplaced philosophy.
Our Vision has overtaken us.
Our Vision has changed us.
Our Vision can never be understood by the use of human definitions.
Our Vision has never had a beginning, nor will it ever have an end.
What is our vision?
What is our beliefs?
It is simply to LIVE the FULLNESS of Jesus, the Christ, of Nazareth.
Who was this man?
Jesus overturned the religious tables of His day.
He took the interpretation of man’s ideas of God and called them false.
He defined what it is like to be a real human, because before He came, we never knew.
Jesus lived what He preached-unlike most charismatic institutions of our current age.
Jesus was obsessed with a plan not of His own.
Jesus radically changed everyone He met. They either loved Him or hated Him, but He was never ignored. It is still the same today.
Jesus had little to do with those stuck in their old religious ways and who were unwilling to change.
His gospel WAS NOT theory.
He loved the ones most throw aside.
His operation was not logical.
He touched the lepers. He braved the cross. He endured the shame. He said nothing in His defense at His trial, and called it all wisdom. (Quite a different definition than most current definitions of wisdom.)
He was unconventional.
He looked like a fatherless, crazy, prideful, pompous, sinful, young, inexperienced, blasphemous tyrant who taught extremes and had little to do with those who were not like minded.
Those looking for Him missed Him because He showed up in a way they did not think. He came on the scene as a weak and illegitimate looking baby born in a despised town and in an animal stall. This is the way GOD chose to enter into the earth. Will He come to your life in a way equally ridiculous? Many of His TRUE people are often called ridiculous.
He changed the entire face of the earth in only three and half years. Then He seemingly threw it all away to hang next to criminals for mankind’s judgmental opinions and willful sins.
He is a Warrior, a Fighter, and a Lover.
What does He war for, fight for, and love for?
Your soul. So you won’t spend eternity in hell.
What is our vision? To do the same, TO LIVE EXACTLY LIKE JESUS CHRIST.
He has risen. It is true.
He blew the doors off of death for all who LIVE as He did.
Are you entombed?
Ever want to meet God?
Ever wonder what He is like?
What if He comes to you in one of His people? Will you miss Him?
YOUR LIFE IS OUR MISSION, HIS LIFE IS OUR VISION.
Is God what you think He is?
He is coming back for those who look like Him.
Who do YOU say He is?
